Three screen models: Aurora, Valkyrie and Bifrost
To meet the expectations of consumers, the range is available in three 4K UHD models with a 16:9 ratio. However, Valkyrie and Bifrost also exist in 5K Cinemascope format. The screens are composed of 27.5-inch LED panels: 36 for the Bifrost screen (365.94 x 205.86 cm), 64 for the Valkyrie (487.92 x 274.48 cm), and the ultimate screen Aurora has a 100 ones (609.9 x 343.1 cm). They were built to be suitable for residential use and are particularly suited to the ambient light of a media room or living room.
TruePix and Infinipix Gen 2, advanced technologies
For the Northern Lights LED series, Barco has chosen a duo of innovations. On the engineering side, these displays are based on the TruePix series of LED platforms, which provide LED walls for professionals, including control rooms and broadcast studios. The second notable technology, Infinipix, is an image processing technology that has been tested and approved on other products from the brand, and is now in its second version (Gen 2). This technology allows images to be displayed with great color accuracy even in ambient light and guarantees low latency. Infinipix also avoids visual distortions.

The end result is an immersive viewing experience, where you forget about the screen and let the movie take center stage. The image is dynamic, rich in color and even enjoyable for video games. These home theater displays also support the latest industry standards, including HLG / HDR10 and 3D.
