The small 5-piece Wattbox range will quickly become an essential part of your A/V toolbox. It is designed for A/V and computer racks and was developed by Snap One (Control4, Araknis, Triad Speakers...). The PDUs have the originality of being adapted to the Control4 ecosystem, and are more specifically compatible with the OvrC application. From then on, they will have several uses.
Reset installations and remote support
Because it often only takes a reset to get an appliance working again, Wattbox is able to save you a considerable amount of time when you're on the move. Thanks to the integration of Wattbox sockets into the OvrC application, you can restart devices individually via wifi while a problem is being resolved. You can also schedule restarts after updates. And best of all, you can create your own program that the end customer can run on an app, for example, to reset their devices. The sockets are optimised for performance and take up very little space: the 12-port PDU is installed vertically along the rack.
Supervising, securing and operating
Wattbox outlets give you flexibility, but also extra security. They protect against power surges, and coupled with an LED display panel installed on the rack like the WattBox® 800I series front panel you easily get status indicators for voltage, security, wifi access up to 3 PDUs simultaneously. In addition to a simplified supervision of the installed outlets, the plate also helps resetting easily and is equipped with USB ports.
