This model is atypical in its composition, combining two large 18-inch woofers in a single cabinet to ensure plenty of power. Despite this, THE 18-2 is a rather slim subwoofer: just 26.5 cm deep to suit a wider range of applications where larger cabinets simply can't fit. As a result, it will take up very little space, almost disappearing in home cinemas or multimedia rooms compared with more traditional cubic subwoofers.

THE 18-2 SUB also offers great musicality and percussive impact thanks to its functioning and frequency response from 33 Hz to 400 Hz (-3 dB). It is coupled to a neodymium motor with a 4-inch ultra-high-temperature voice coil, with a maximum sound pressure level of 137 dB at 100 Hz.
