Recording on Composer ends in April
Important information for future installations of devices from the brand Control4.
By 23 April 2024, all new Control4 systems will have to be registered from OvrC. Controller registration via Composer Pro will no longer be available.
Your OvrC account must now be linked to your Control4 account. You can find the procedure for doing this on this link if this is not the case:
Tutorial: linking the OvrC account to the Control4 account
Following this, you will be able to register your Control4 controller and launch updates.
This applies to new devices; old devices already registered on Composer can remain so.
Switching from Control4 to OvrC, information and advice
We advise you to check that your OvrC accounts are set up correctly as soon as possible so that you are not blocked in your next projects.
The aim of this development will be to give you :
- Enhanced cyber security
- Temporary IDs for the Control4 application
- A new customer transfer function
- The ability to monitor and troubleshoot from virtually anywhere, thanks to a new suite of automation-specific tools.
