Audio pop and patented
Gallo Acoustics is a brand 100% dedicated to audio equipment. You'll quickly notice: it stands out for its spherical design products. Far from being a purely aesthetic choice, the brand took this decision to eliminate resonance and internal diffraction, two main causes of speaker distortion. A thought-out sound: S2 and CDT technologies
Gallo has developed proprietary technologies that make their products very efficient despite their deliberately small size. The patented CDT technology in the Strada 2 products comprises a membrane made of Kynar, an advanced aerospace plastic. It is coated with pure silver for conductivity, as are the soldered wires at its ends. The entire diaphragm is wrapped around a rigid, wave-attenuating polypropylene core. Thus, the CDT does not use moving coils or magnets because the signal is transmitted to the conductive surface of the diaphragm (attempts at expansion are corrected by the speaker shape). The proprietary S2 patent, on the other hand, extends the low-frequency response two full octaves lower than would otherwise be possible given the size of the speaker. This patent therefore improves the volumetric efficiency of the speakers, which then function as if they were 10 times their actual size.
The multi-support speaker
An undeniable advantage of the products is their aesthetics. Although the spherical choice is above all technical, the appearance of the products will nevertheless be an asset to present to your architectural or design clients. Indeed, the original and compact shape will seduce, as well as the diversity of colours, from sober metallic finish to pop colours such as red, blue or yellow which give a retro side to the product. The choice of colours can also be made on the cable side (for the suspensions), and the colour of the speakers can be personalised on request.
